THE HEMOSTASIS REFERENCE LAB
The Hemostasis Reference Lab (HRL) is a specialized laboratory located strategically within McMaster University's Innovation Park. With over 30 years of experience in providing lab services, we are known for our strong expertise and experience in the field of hemostasis and thrombosis. We have extensive partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, as well as with clinical and academic researchers. We are also proud to have a formal lab partnership with the Hemostasis Reference Lab Medical Partnership (HRLMP). Our mission is to provide laboratory services and research to advance the science and practice of hemostasis and thrombosis.

Assignments
We perform assignments for Thromboplastin reagents and point of care INR devices. HRL is one of only few independent laboratories in the world to perform the assignments according to the World Health Organization (WHO) protocol.

Analysis
With coagulation analyzers representing every major coagulation device manufacturer, HRL has the ability to provide value assignments and flexible product research and validation testing.
