IgG Subclass Testing Now Available in Hamilton
IgG Subclass Testing is a laboratory test used to measure and evaluate the levels of Immunoglobulin G (IgG) in the body. IgG is the most abundant antibody in the human body, making up 75% of serum antibodies, and is responsible for controlling the infection of body tissues. Through this testing, it is possible to identify and diagnose certain conditions, such as autoimmune hepatitis, as well as indicate serologic immunity to certain viruses, such as measles, mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella.
